Traceability of tools on work sites
The need of tools monitoring is one of the most common use of asset tracking and more globally of industrial geolocation.
Thanks to tags affixed on every intervention tool, combined with a tailored software solution and an application built in a smartphone, a tablet or one of our detection equipment (such as tunnels or portal detectors), it is possibleto identify tools borrowed or returned by technicians and to highlight non-compliant tools for instance. It is also possible to report the good or bad shape of tools, to see how technicians use every tool, to see the accesses to the storage store and to find all the tools related to an intervention context (OT number, plane number…).
This way, managers can get statistics on the use rates of every tool.
